A reflection of our professions

France Invest’s governance bodies are the guarantors of the growing diversity of our professions. They are governed by our Articles of Association.

France Invest has a modern, transparent and efficient governance system composed of a Board of Directors, an Executive Committee, a Selection Committee, an Ethics Committee, a Managing Director and a team of around twenty permanent staff.

Board of Directors

As the engine behind the Association’s strategy, the Board of Directors determines its direction and ensures its implementation. Subject to the powers of the General Assembly and within the limits of the Association’s purpose, it can address any issue relevant to the proper functioning of the Association and handle relevant matters. Its Chair is elected for a two-year term.

The Executive Committee

The Executive Committee ensures the implementation of the Board’s decisions, monitors and controls the Association’s actions, prepares position papers and acts as an audit committee for monitoring and controlling the budget.

It is composed of the President, the Vice-Presidents, the Treasurer and the Managing Director. It meets twice a month.

Selection Committee

The Selection Committee, chaired by Dominique Gaillard, Armen, and former President of France Invest, identifies, examines and selects candidates for the positions of President and Director of the Association and members of certain committees or commissions. It defines the qualifications required for these positions and ensures the long-term cohesion and renewal of the Association’s various bodies.

Ethics Committee

The Ethics Committee is concerned with developing and promoting compliance with ethical principles and good practices. France Invest is thus pursuing a dual mission in this regard.

Managing Director

Chosen by the Board of Directors on the proposal of the Executive Committee, the Managing Director ensures the effective management of the Association. In this capacity, s/he implements the decisions of the Board of Directors and directs interest representation and communication actions. S/he prepares and executes budgets. S/he monitors relations between the Association and its members as well as with partner organisations. S/he reports on his/her mission to the Board of Directors and to the members of the Association at General Meetings.

Our team implements the directions and decisions made by the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. It operates under the responsibility of the CEO and is organized around key areas of action.
